“A Stranger to This Planet” published in Asymptote

The Fall 2020 issue of Asymptote, the Taiwan-based journal of world literature in translation, was launched today. Among many other fine pieces, it features my essay “A Stranger to This Planet,” on the life and work of François Augiéras.

I’m grateful to editor Lee Yew Leong, Writers on Writers editor Ah-reum Han, and the entire team at Asymptote for their incredible work in putting this issue together.
